Apologies for Lack of Post... But Here is Something Completely Different

I am sorry for the lack of posts recently.

When I started this blog I wasn't nearly as busy at work as I have been now.

I am still trying to have time to write updates on the campaign, the only problem being, we have also been missing sessions of the campaign. But I will be trying for the next 7 days to post something everyday. (And no I am not going to cheat and use this post as today's)

If nothing else, one of my other projects seems to have taken off. So I will be using it as filler while I get my normal posts back in a more reasonable time frame. I will be posting the initial chapters of a fanfiction book that I am writing. Now I know that I lost a lot of you when I said "fanfiction", but this is not just a creepy attempt to put together characters in romantic situations. I am writing a novel based in the Shadowrun universe. With original characters. I am writing it in my own style, with a shifting 1st person  point of view. For those unfamiliar with Shadowrun, it was my first experience with RPG's and it still holds a place of honor in my heart. It is a futuristic world set in 2070, where magic mixes with technology and Elves, Dwarves, Orks and Trolls, among other paranormal creatures have reappeared. It is in its 4th edition currently, and the 5th edition is set to come out in June of this year. (I am really excited)

My book focuses mostly on 3 different characters:

Jason "Timber" - A young idealistic human wolf shaman

Parker Manningham - A 30 something elf former executive bodygaurd

Swash - An older dwarf Hacker

Ater bringing them together, much as you have to herd your party at the begining of an adventure, they go on a few missions together as a newly formed shadowrun team.

So I will be posting the 1st chapter today. Please feel free to read and comment. I would love critiques on my writing.

And as always readers, remember: Shoot Straight, Run Fast, Conserve Ammo, and NEVER Ever Cut a Deal with a Dragon
